Yesterday was a busy day in Halifax! We had the perfect sunny fall day to explore the city on foot and visit many of I Love Local HFX's City Harvest participants. I teamed up with the Halifax Food Bloggers to take advantage of all the amazing back-door take-outs offered in celebration of City Harvest. The food was amazing! I also visited many of Halifax's local shops to check out some great sales and have a chat with local business owners. There was no way I was going to squeeze everyone into one day, so I'm including some of the photographs I shot earlier this year for the I Love Local HFX brochure as well. These businesses are dedicated to being a positive part of our community. Get to know your local business owners! Halifax has so many amazing offerings, get out there see what you can find.
