Hiring Michelle to do our photos was the first – and easiest – decision we made while planning our wedding.  We were familiar with her work and never had any doubts that we wanted her taking our photos. And she was just amazing. A light-hearted personality combined with stellar organizational skills – just what you need on a crazy wedding day. She was with us all day and night, not only taking beautiful pictures of our family and friends, but also capturing personal moments between us, the results of which were quite moving. Her creativity and enthusiasm for the process were catching – no boring, stuffy wedding photo moments here! All in all, an excellent experience.

Jennifer & James

We got married in Halifax in July 2011 – selecting the right photographer may have been more challenging for us than most because we live thousands of miles away in Hong Kong.  Michelle was very helpful with organising things via email and ensuring that we knew exactly what we were getting.  Our wedding day was soaking wet, but throughout it Michelle was a calm and unobtrusive presence, capturing some beautiful images of the day, despite the lack of sunshine. We never felt worried about whether we were going to get good pictures or not, and when we saw the finished photos we were overjoyed – a great variety from the whole day, from pre-wedding nervousness all the way to the end of the night’s partying.

We’re not planning on getting married again any time soon, but if we were, we’d certainly get Michelle to be our photographer.
